A very effective and dramatic composition - but a monumental pain to paint!

Having managed to track-down a true-to-life model of the tank as reference, I then got frustrated by the sheer amount of grey tones the cover called for. The pic required a couple of minor editorial revisions but ultimately was worth all the effort.
