I really enjoyed doing this one - it was like painting a Captain Carrot cover!

I tried to get all the different stitching and colours right for each team's mascot. Last year my pencils were digitally coloured and many of the mascots were grey with no colours on the uniforms. I wanted to make it bright and authentic and I think I succeeded.

When I did the pencils for this I was concentrating on the size and shape of each figure with regards to their location on the cover - then when I came to paint it, I found the blue ones and the red ones were all bunched together!
