The more alert observer may notice the re-use of the background from my Daredevil litho but this was absolutely intentional!

Initially, I toyed with using the background from issue one but the layout just didn't work. I needed a deserted street and had a brainwave when I figured that with all the heroes and villains situated in NY, many areas of Manhattan would see semi-frequent visits from superbeings - so, it wasn't a cop-out to re-use the reference! It makes a nice bookend to the series too. I tried to get it to look deserted without going overboard with the litter...
