I'm pleased with the way this one came out. Before starting this pic I looked at some of of Gil Elvgren's works. It's kinda real-but-comical-too.

I drew a 'Stu the Human' cover, printed it off and made an actual comic for reference. I painted the comic in acrylics mainly, the first time I've used them for about 8 years!

Check out the concept pencils below - the initial idea was good but didn't display the 'Stu the Human' cover as well, which delivers the main 'gist' of the issue - hence the revamp.
