I did this one after I saw Alex Ross' Legion cover for the Overstreet price guide. I liked the ambience in his painting, and that's what I wanted to attain in this pic.

Just as an aside, my favourite Ross pics are the Harley Quinn/Joker cover, his recreation of Avengers #4 and the G-Force/Battle of the Planets litho for Dynamic Forces.
