I got into the zone painting this one. The Atom was fun to paint. In retrospect, I feel some elements in this pic were rushed but it turned out really well. I was getting used to the new boards I'd been working on at the time (more solid than previously, to prevent Fed-Ex from trying to snap them!).

On a sad and disappointing note, the original never got returned to me from DC - the painting went missing while over in the 'States for reproduction. It's a real shame - that the painting's whereabouts are unknown and that someone working in the industry would stoop to such measures to acquire it is saddening.
