I got offered this job at the very last minute but it came out pretty well. For reference for the tentacled monster I simply used one of the interior pages by Barry Kitson and Gary Erskine as it's hard to make something like that look real! I was trying to make it look like an old pulp fiction cover but avoid it looking too dated...

I would have liked to have spent longer on the figure of Starman but basically ran out of time. The pencils I did for that figure were the best I'd done for a while.
