Yet another piece turned out in double-quick time. I returned from a weekend break with my family only to find an e-mail from the editor asking for the finished painting to be submitted 24hrs earlier!

Given the impossible situation (nobody's fault - just unfortunate circumstances) - we agreed on a compromise whereby someone else would computer-colour the pic direct from the pencil art.

As of writing this 'text, I have yet to see the finished/coloured art - so it will be interesting to see how the experiment works out.
